The Canada-United States relationship has entered into a new era under President Trump, and American interest in Canada has gained new attention as a result. This seminar will discuss both historical foundations and contemporary tensions through a series of scholar sessions that meet synchronously.
Teachers who participate and work independently to create a unit/5 lesson plans on Canadian topics to be taught to their students may be eligible for a $250 stipend when assignment requirements are met. Course completion deadline: 7/31.
15-Clock Hour Certificate: 9 hours of 5 synchronous meetings + 6 hours asynchronous learning; CTLEs for NY teachers
